This has to be the largest, greatest and most profound Crop Circles (apprx 530 Meters x 450 Meters) since “The Galaxy” formation that appeared at Milk Hill, Wiltshire on 12 August 2001 (The largest crop pattern of all time, 800 feet across, consisting of 409 circles).

It depicts human metamorphosis and transformation!

It appeared near a town in southern Netherlands called Goes, on August 7th 2009, but it has gone unreported in the major Crop Circle websites.

At Home with Replicants: The Architecture of Blade Runner

The Tyrell Headquarters seem to be modeled on a Mayan Temple. Internally, its architecture and design is eclectic. A visionary future is held at bay by size. As with the elevation of Deckard’s apartment, here the only concession to the future—albeit an imagined future—is enormity. Conversely, other architectural possibilities are provided by the transformation of the given; however, the transformation in question is decay. What comes to be juxtaposed within the cosmopolitan urban fabric is decay—the continuity rather than the teleology of decay—and the modern vast. The replicant is seen as a threat within this context. It is as this point that the constraint governing both architecture and film needs to be reintroduced.

Sarychev Peak on Matua Island is one of the most active volcanoes in the Kuril Island chain, northeast of Japan. Astronauts took this photo of an eruption on June 12. The plume appears to be a combination of brown ash and white steam. The vigorously rising plume gives the steam a bubble-like appearance; the surrounding atmosphere has been shoved up by the shock wave of the eruption.

High above Earth, in the realm of meteors and noctilucent clouds, a strange and beautiful form of lightning dances at the edge of space. Researchers call the bolts “sprites”; they are red, fleeting, and tend to come in bunches.

Searchers from three continents are focusing on a remote Atlantic Ocean stretch where Air France Flight 447 mysteriously went down in water thousands of feet deep, leaving debris scattered for miles and little hope of finding survivors.
A 23-foot chunk of plane and a 12-mile-long oil slick were found early Wednesday, Brazilian air force spokesman Col. Jorge Amaral said. Rescuers have still found no signs of life.

Giant jellyfish invades Earth… in the form of a mysterious crop circle

A 600ft jellyfish has washed up in a barley field miles from the sea - in the form of one of the biggest and most bizarre crop circles ever seen.
Experts say the gigantic pattern in the field in Kingstone Coombes, Oxfordshire, is the first of its kind - and far larger than most crop patterns.
Aficionado Karen Alexander said: “We have seen butterfly and bird patterns in the past, but this is the first jellyfish crop circle in the world.”

A Dark, Stormy Night over the Atlantic

An Air France plane (Flight AF 447) carrying 228 people from Brazil to France has vanished over the Atlantic after flying into turbulence, airline officials say.

The Airbus sent an automatic message at 0214 GMT, four hours after leaving Rio de Janeiro, reporting a short circuit. It may have been damaged by lightning.

In a place that is home to the world’s worst thunderstorms. Just as it disappeared, the Airbus A330-203 was flying into a thick band of convective activity that rose to 41,000 feet. This equatorial region is known as the Intertropical Convergence Zone – it is where Northeast and Southeast Trade Winds meet - forcing a lot of warm, moist air upward - which condenses – an efficient thunderstorm producing machine.
